Your relaxed, unposed body is never going to look exactly the same as your posed body and that’s okay 🫶🏼 The photos you see on socials are people’s best snapshots, their posed pictures, their highlights - and yes they look great! But NOBODY looks like that all the time. Try to remember that an Instagram photo shows the TINIEST percentage of someone’s day & this is only how they look 0.1% time 📸 There’s nothing wrong with this - we all post our best photos! BUT it is so easy to get swept up into comparing our unposed, relaxed body (the 99.9%) with someone else’s posed body (the 0.1%). The girls and I were chatting about this on hols and how we are all so critical of our own pics, especially the candids 🥺 But you wouldn’t suddenly think a celebrity was ugly if you saw an unflattering paparazzi pic, would you? You wouldn’t sit there and criticise everything “wrong” with the photo, so why do the same to yourself?! When you see a picture of yourself that you’re not a huge fan of, try and just think “it’s not my best picture, but one picture doesn’t represent everything I am” and move on from it. It sounds simple but the more you say it & do it, the more you’ll start the believe it - and soon it will just come naturally to you 🤭 And let’s face it, anyone who genuinely does sit there and slate people’s bad pics (cough cough 2000s magazines), 1) probably isn’t worth knowing 2) most definitely isn’t all that happy in themselves either xxx #outtakeswitheleanor #posedvsrelaxed #normalizenormalbodies #normalpeople #realbodiesmatter
