Here’s how to elevate your garlic bread game to a whole another level….Caramelized onion garlic bread, is the best thing I’ve ever made, these bites were eaten in a matter of seconds, the sweetness of the onions just gives it a better tasting profile …I’m never making it any other way. Ingredients: 1 large bread 1/2 cup/1 stick butter, softened 1/2 pack parsley leaves, chopped 2 yellow onions 4-5 garlic heads Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup parmesan Olive oil Directions: Slice onions and sauté on medium to low heat for 1-2 h until fully caramelized Cut your bread lengthwise into 2 pieces Cut the head of your garlic, drizzle olive oil, add salt & pepper then wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 1h on 400F Prepare a mortar, add garlic, butter, sautéed onions, chopped parsley and mix well Spread evenly on the sliced bread and bake for12- 15 minutes on 400F or until golden, you can add 2-3 minutes for broiling to give it an extra top crisp.#garlicbread #garlicconfit #caramelizedonions
