This visual is a lovely reminder that pregnancy is a 9 month marathon & a significant event that the body undergoes. Some of the essentials to help you through are rest, plenty of time for recovery and pelvic therapy to help you along the way. Additionally, it is important to note that each journey is individualistic. We all know “comparison is the thief of joy” so let go of the hustle culture our society promotes. You do not need to bounce back after baby as fast as possible. Give yourself permission to go at your own pace. It’s OK & healthy to create space and time to recalibrate & heal while adjusting to all the newness your newborn brings.
