@mssm.yorkville is the brand new “affordable” restaurant by Chef Masaki Saito, the highest Michelin ranking chef in Canada (with two stars). At $98.00 per person, the baby sibling offers compelling value compared to the original deal at $680.00. The Omakase at MSSM comprises a toro handroll, small cold appetizer, Chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), 9 pieces of sushi, miso soup, and dessert. At this price point, one can’t expect bells or whistles (or real wasabi for that matter). But one can expect - and will experience - competently crafted, delicious sushi. The dining room is vibrant, jovial, and intimate - I estimate about 16 seats total.
