“Return to the Sea Some Measure of the Benefits Derived from it.” AFTCO’s very own CEO and Chairman, Bill Shedd, was inducted into the 2023 IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame for his significant contributions to fishing conservation. At the age of 71, Bill has committed much of his life to leaving our fisheries better than he found them. Dedicating 15,000+ hours to various conservation projects, marine research, and sport fishing industry issues. "If I have accomplished anything for marine conservation and the sportfishing community over the last 40 years, it was done in part simply to honor that request of my father, a man I respected more than any other." Bill joins his father, Milt Shedd, in the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame as the first father and son duo to be separately inducted.
