If I had to choose just one mission (there’s many) as a boy mum, it’s for my son to know that it’s okay to cry. It’s okay to FEEL. In a world that hardens, I hope for him to stay soft. For him to know there’s room for both his fire and his kind, loving & gentle self. That his sensitivity is a superpower. To never lose touch with his emotions. To know that true strength is in feeling, not in hiding. If you’re out there breaking generational cycles and paving a different way for your family, I see you. It’s no small front. It takes constant effort and energy - to choose a different path, a different reaction or way of showing up. It can be exhausting and I sure don’t get it right all of the time, but one thing I know for sure is — it’s worth it. Let’s create a generation of men that feel loved and supported in expressing ALL of them. #consciousparenting #raisingboys #raisingwildlings #wildandfreechildren
