Our good brother Nasir gave the commercial world a glimpse of his rarely seen mixtape era Escobar 600 flow on this legendary collaboration with the Art & Design Posse. As the lecture deepens the conversation continues about the social impact that gangsta rap had on the impressionable youth of the yesterday who are now the proud parents of our favorite drill/trap kids. The 1995-1997 NYC rap community had an overwhelmingly odd obsession with the movie Scarface that resonated with the ghetto youth inspired by Tony’s story. Prodigy and the crew were fans of the cult classic and sampled a variety of scenes on albums to mixtape cuts.
