👩🏻‍🎨 Do you AVOID to do the most important things? Let me start by saying that I’m not burnt out. I’m doing ALL the other creative daily joys & habits (drawing day & night) that give me so much fulfilment. ✍🏼✍🏼 This is about what I’ve made zero time for. Painting. 🎨 I have avoided painting for what seems like over a decade now. Over the years I TOLD MYSELF that I’m much better at drawing. Most likely due to the lack of sales from my previous exhibits. Silly really but just didn’t have the inspiration to continue. A sudden surge of painting sales years later made me realize that I may not be quite as bad a painter as I thought 😍 But even so, I’ve had several failed attempts & excuses to start & this canvas has remained blank in my studio for 5 months. So here I am today. The avoidant warrior. I’m posting this, cause I need to push through.
