Y’all, it is September the 6th in this most advanced year of 2023 and I’m just going to say it. I am tired of being so damn hot. And another thing. Hot flashes in this summer of hell are just infuriating. And I’ll tell you this. The jiggle in my upper arms feel like I’ve slathered congealed salad from my shoulder to my elbow and it 1000% ticks me off. I know a sleeveless shirt makes sense in this heat. I just haven’t made peace with my marshmallow and orange jello triceps yet, so here I go just trapping in heat and humidity like I’m a human greenhouse. And how are we supposed to even have a hairdo right now? I have strings that hang from my head. That’s my hairdo. I have stretched that tender under eye area hither and yon since May wiping off mascara. And God bless my fanny and the backs of my legs sitting on those hot as fire leather car seats. And my underwire? Lord. *loud exhale* Why isn’t there a FEMA for this? I mean, I WILL need rescuing if I have to shimmy out of one more pair of sweaty pants that fit fine last week.
