Eggy 3 Minute Scrammy Tofu Recipe 💛💛💛 This is episode 2 of my Tofu Series and it’s going to become one of your new staples! Dry and spongey scrambled tofu is not a vibe 🫠 So if you’re looking for the quickest, easiest and eggiest scrammy tofu recipe, then you’ve come to the right place 👀 All you need is: 300-400grams of classic (slightly firm) tofu *OR a combo of silken and firm tofu (crumbled) 1/3 cup nutritional yeast 1-2 tsp dried chives and/or parsley 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp black salt (kala namak) 1/2 tsp salt cracked black pepper to taste In a medium microwave safe bowl, lightly mash the tofu and mix in all of the seasonings until combined. I recommend not mashing it too hard before it cooks, as it is going to soften and break down even more in the microwave. Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir, and microwave for a further 1 minute. Give it one final mash if necessary and serve topped with a little chilli oil and some crusty toast! This will be the easiest and quickest scrammy tofu you’ll ever make!
