When you’re fatigued from MS... you have TWO best options to reduce your fatigue 😴: 1️⃣ - Rest, guilt-free! This means that when you’re resting, you choose to IGNORE the voices that are saying “I should be exercising” or “I shouldn’t be resting” 🙅♀️ and instead replace them with thoughts of “I deserve rest” and “my body works better when I’m rested”. 2️⃣ - Move your body in ANY way you can... in any PLACE you can... in any POSITION you can 💃! This is where it gets FUN 🤩... >> You can move your body SUPER lightly (ie. move your arms, reach for your toes, etc.) >> You can pick whichever location in your home is easiest for you to access.. your bed 🛏️, couch, etc! >> Pick whichever position is easiest for you — standing, sitting, lying down, anything goes 🪑! 👩⚕️ Research shows that BOTH of these strategies will reduce your fatigue. What NOT to do = push through it. This will not only make your fatigue worse today, but potentially tomorrow, too!
