✨Let’s GOooooooo GIRLS!! 👩🏼‍🔧✨ Figured it’s about time I introduced myself 😜 I’m Jessie & I was a SAHM for 12 years before I ever picked up my very first tool! I waited so long to get our first house … we moved 12 different times and literally over the world! I lived in so many different military houses and rentals and couldn’t wait to have something of my OWN! When we finally got our first house 4 years ago … it wasn’t anything I had hoped for & I honestly was so disappointed! We had no money to fix anything up and my husband left for another deployment. After everyone telling me to wait and one day I could fix it up … I decided to teach myself and stop waiting! I started with one project and one tool … which I borrowed from my neighbor, which lead to another and another. Mistakes we’re definitely made but, I also learned so much from each one. I honestly believe the best way to learn is to just dive right in!!! At this time my daughter was also recovering from her second heart surgery and ALL of these afters are literally my therapy! I took all my pain, anxiety and depression and turned it into the most beautiful spaces! Nothing is my therapeutic then building and creating something with your own two hands! I was told & still get told quite often that I am not capable of doing ALL of these things! ✨Let this be your sign that you are enough and that we are so much more capable then even we think!!! 🥰✨ #housetohome #renovating #femaleempowerment
