You wouldn’t read about it.. I don’t know how to say this but I think it needs to be shared. To not only bring awareness but to save the uncomfortable chats both ways. 💔 Thursday night we got into our car with both our sons and went off to a private ultrasound to find out the gender of our precious baby. The excitement was real, the vibes were high & we were all discussing what we thought baby was. We discussed two beautiful names and the boys were all pumped! Once we got the scan it started well and then the silence echoed.. ‘Im so sorry I can’t find a heartbeat’ surly this is wrong. I stared directly at the ultrasound and I couldn’t see it flicker either, baby wasn’t moving. I could feel my body temperature about to explode & my world around me get closer and start closing in.. my body numb. Not again! She said ‘I’m not sure if you know about loss but there is a good company called..’ I instantly bursted into tears, I know loss our daughter died two years ago. The next 12 hours were extremely dark. We spent the day at the GCUH hospital Friday and got the same horrible news. How on earth do you have a miscarriage at 16.5 weeks 😞 We’ve kept extremely low the last few days and let our mind and bodies rest, recover & reset. I’m not sure who’s in charge of our life script but I’m sure we’ve conquered the resilience task. Please keep our family in your thoughts over the next few days.. 🕊️ #pregnancyloss
