You might not realise this but: 1.NOT ALL BARRE IS AT ‘THE BARRE’ Part of it is yes, the rest is on the mat or standing using light weights. 2. Barre works your WHOLE BODY not just your glutes and legs. It’s actually unbelievable for creating definition for the upper body and building a core of absolute steel. 3. Barre is not ballet. It was created by a ballerina who got injured and wanted to maintain her athleticism, flexibility and strength is a way that is kind to the body but tough on the muscles… It’s total body strength training fused with elements of pilates and ballet and will humble you like you won’t even believe. So yes I like to post aesthetic workouts lifting my legs in the air but that’s not the whole story 😅 My signature barre method works the upper body and core as much as the lower body and we work every muscle group to fatigue through time under tension to build insane strength.
