SKIN HEALING JOURNEY + TIPS💚 About two years I decided to ditch the harsh topicals, antibiotics, bc pill and heal my skin naturally. The healing journey has had its ups and downs but learning about my body and holistic health has been so beautiful and rewarding. (“My skin” highlight has progress pictures) I have pretty much tried it all and healing naturally isn’t a quick fix, it takes time but it’s so worth it. I want to share a few things that have changed the game for my skin (other than just eating healthy) that I wish I would have known at the start of my healing journey! Skin healing tips: -balancing my blood sugar (eating within an hour of waking up, including protein, healthy fats and fiber at every meal, clothing my carbs, @glucosegoddess has alll the tips on balancing blood sugar) -dandelion tea, happy liver happy skin! I drink a cup a day, I can tell a difference in my skin if I’m not consistent with drinking it -breaking a sweat daily + lymphatic drainage, it’s important to move those toxins out! Sauna and dry brushing have been my favs -anti-inflammatory foods, I also drink turmeric + ginger tea or shots every single day -gut health (I know we’ve all heard this one but it’s so important) incorporating gut loving foods, Aloe Vera juice, probiotics, bone broth are a few I try to have daily -consistent sun exposure, the sun is so healing!
