HEALTHY HOMEMADE SNICKERS BARS😍 If you’re a fan of snickers bars I’m begginggg you to try this healthy version. They’re made with just 5 simple ingredients. Thank you @lovelydelites for this recipe!🙌🏻 Recipe: Date Caramel: -1 cup medjool dates, soaked in hot water -3 tbsp peanut butter or any nut butter -1 tsp vanilla extract Nougat layer: -1/2 cup almond flour -1/2 tbsp date caramel -4 tbsp peanut butter or any nut butter Add 1-2tbsp water if mixture is too thick Top layer -1/2 cup peanuts (I used almonds) -1/5 cups dark chocolate chips How to: -remove pits from dates and soak in hot water (not boiling) for about 10min, drain dates -add soaked dates, nut butter and vanilla extract to a food processor and blend until mixture turns into a caramel paste -remove the date caramel from the food processor and set aside -add the almond flour, 1/2 tbsp of the date caramel and nut butter to the food processor and blend for a few minutes until mixture turns into a crumbly dough. Dough should be firm and able to hold its shape, if not keep blending -add the crust to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper, press crust down until even -pour date caramel over the crust and spread evenly, top with peanuts and slightly press them into the date caramel -freeze loaf pan for about 60-90min -remove the loa pan from the freezer and place the parchment paper on a cutting board and cut snickers into equal sized bars -dip and coat each snickers bar with melted chocolate and place back in the freezer for about 10-15min to harden completely Enjoy!
