NATURE’S GATORADE AKA SWITCHEL😍🍹 Switchel, also known as Haymaker’s Punch, is a refreshing drink colonial farmers used to drink after working in the hot sun all day. It simple to make and is perfect to sip on during summer🥵 Recipe: -1 cup ginger, chopped -6 cups water -1/2 cup lemon juice (about 2 whole lemons) -1/2 cup apple cider vinegar -1/2 cup maple syrup -pinch of Celtic salt -sparkling water (optional) -fresh mint (optional) How to: -add chopped ginger and water to pot, bring to a boil and then turn off the heat, let it simmer for 20min -add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and salt to a pitcher and stir -strain out ginger root from ginger water, add ginger water to pitcher -serve with sparkling water and fresh mint leaves Enjoy!
