So many ideas today. I had lamb cravings, something with bold spice, and here is we’re I landed. This is a Lamb and Phyllo pie. Ground Lamb was Sautéed with Onions and Garlic. Chopped Chard was added, as well as Chopped Walnuts. Currants, Chopped Mint and Parsley. The spices took it to another level with Cumin, Coriander, Cinnamon, Paprika, Turmeric a dash of Cayenne and a Harissa Blend. Some Feta and Grated Mozzarella were added for some creaminess. The mixture was wrapped in buttered Phyllo and baked until golden and crispy. Each bite was enjoyed with a cooling Lemony Yogurt Sauce with a kiss of Honey and Mint. (Swipe over to see the saucy fork shot.) On the side was a lovely Greek Style Salad with Neighbor Grown Tomatoes. This meal was so delicious and rich I could only eat half.
