Itโs pretty much winter here still and my whole house is between 14 and 18ยฐC at the moment, Iโm wearing 3 layers, 2 socks and am still freezing and debating if looking foward to colder temperatures was such a smart thing to do. ๐ ๐ฅถ Making bread is quite the hassle at the moment as outside itโs proving too slow and in the oven with light on too fast so I decided to make a whole rye loaf as those usually proof nicely at 28-30ยฐC in my oven. I filled it with some pumpkin seeds while shaping it. Itโs quite airy and soft and much less sticky than I expected for 50% whole rye, it also hold shape nicely. Will do another try later this week as Iโd love to put a rye bread on my menu, but I still need to figure out what process works best for bigger batches. This one also has 8% treacle in it which works so well with rye!
