A pair of important René Lalique candelabras were among the highlights @GalerieMarcilhac presented at TEFAF Maastricht 2023. In 1925, master glassmaker Lalique participated in several projects for the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs Industriels et Modernes in Paris, where he created his famous “Pavillon Lalique” together with architect Marc Ducluzeaud. The interior was designed and executed by Lalique and included a bright dining room where these candelabras in molded glass were exhibited. @GalerieMarcilhac’s carefully curated stand paid homage to the original space of the “Lalique Pavilion,” accompanied by a white Lalique console and a “Vase aux éléphants” by Jean Besnard.
