If you have MS and are wondering if the leg press is better or worse than squats 🦵, listen up! Squats are the MOST functional because it replicates the exact movement we need to do in real life situations, like standing up from a chair & sitting down with control 🪑, while fully weight bearing. The leg press is less functional because you’re sitting down. How often, in real life, do you need to push your legs away from you when you’re sitting 🤷🏼♀️? Not too often. At the end of the day, they’re BOTH great exercises for strengthening your legs 🏋🏼♀️, but squats are more likely to result in improved mobility throughout your day!
