Apparently this potato has 21g of fat in it 🥴 …it’s actually more like 0.5! This shows how easy it is to miscalculate calories / macros and why error margins can be as high as 50% This would have cost nearly 200 calories and that’s just one component of one meal. So if you do track your food this way (measuring grams and using a database to check the calories and macros), make sure you… ➡️ Check multiple entries. ➡️ Check if it’s raw / cooked. ➡️ Check another database. Accuracy is EVERYTHING if you’re trying to achieve body composition changes. This is one reason why I prefer to keep track of hand portions - I find it to be more practical, easy to do and accurate enough for myself and most the clients I work with. Thoughts?
