Sourdough Bread from Kombucha Starter 🍞 Kombucha Starter🥂 Ingredients 4 tbsp. Atta 1 cup Kombucha (homebrewed or market bought. I used @peepalfarmproducts. Available at shop.peepalfarm.org) Recipe🍃 Add 2 tbsp. atta to a jar and mix it with 1/2 cup kombucha. It works better if the settled residue from the kombucha bottle is used. Close the jar, not tight, and leave it in a warm place for 12 hours for fermentation to begin. Repeat the same process the next day. Add the remaining atta and kombucha, mix, and let it ferment for another day. By the 3rd day, you will see air pockets in the starter, this means the starter is ready to make bread with. If needed, repeat feeding the starter for another 12 hours or until the starter is ready. Sourdough Bread🍞 Ingredients 2 1/2 cups Atta 1 1/2 cup water 1 1/2 tbsp Kombucha Starter Recipe🍃 Mix everything together in a big vessel. Cover and let it rise for a couple of hours. Transfer the dough gently to the mold and bake. Preheat the oven and bake the bread at 180 degrees Celsius for an hour. Take the bread out from the mold onto a wire rack and let it cool. Note: - The bread will have a pleasant mild sour taste.
