Here’s the thing - I’ve had my fair share of injuries. In fact, this past week I was dealing with my own wrist pain (which made this workout very authentic lol). And there is certainly a time and place to go into rehab mode, spend time with PT’s, or stick to restorative practices to ground and calm the nervous system. But other times, we just want to have a pleasant movement experience that avoids aggravating the injury without turning every workout into a rehab session. There is so much value in associating movement with joy instead of pain - and this is possible when you don’t spend the entire practice in worry mode and can instead stay present and embodied! I sooo prefer handstand so I haven’t tried this is weeks!
